I have two new developments to announce in the writing world of David K. Bennett.
First, I have a new book coming out, with a release on October 2nd. This is another fantasy, but it is not set in the Zdrell world, though the magic system is similar in many ways. The book title is The Elevated, and main character, instead of being young boy, is a Ninety-Three Year old man!. My cover and the story summary are below.
Second, I have been working for long time on getting an audiobook version of The Master of Zdrell out there. I lost my original narrator, and since my audiobook sales have never been strong put it on hold for a long time. So, this time I decided to do something different. I have been working with an AI narration company called Spoken to produce a full-cast narration of the book. This is very different from the lame AI narration that Amazon/Audible does. I have over one-hundred different character voices and in some ways it is even better than having a single human voice actor doing the narration. If you are interested in being a Beta-listener, let me know, I am looking for help and I don’t have a final release date, but I plan to release before the end of October.
